Lamborghini chief Stephan Winkelmann is on a world tour, showcasing the Murcielago-replacement to selected clients - a model Lamborghini has yet to officially name.

Lamborghini boss Stephan Winkelmann has cleared the air about many of the company's future product plans, including rumors about a possible sport utility vehicle.

In an interview with AutoCar, Winkelmann said, "We really have a choice when it comes to an additional model: an SUV or a four-seat four-door. And for me the SUV is a no-go. It doesn't exist in our price segment, and it's not a real luxury car."

Lamborghini Debuts V12 Engine

The Italian automaker announced details on its new V12 power plant, which is expected to debut in the upcoming Murcielago models. The new engine is meant to be named Aventador. The new engine is a naturally aspirated 6.5 liter V12, known internally as the L539, with a total output of 8,250 rpm.
