Lamborghini Looks to Produce SUV

The popular luxury Italian sports car maker Lamborghini is looking to
broaden their line up with a possible four-door vehicle and even an SUV.
Sources report that Lamborghini is looking closely at launching a high-performance SUV as a successor to the original 1980's LM002.
If built, design influence would almost certainly be taken from the original LM002, as well as the Estoque four-door coupe. Regardless, the car will never be mistaken for anything but a Lamborghini.
Also on the cards is a new 'sub-Gallardo' model to be powered by a V-8 engine and designed to be an entry-level model. Built in the same vein as models such as the 1980's era Lamborghini Urraco and Jalpa, the new entry-level model would take Lamborghini into a new price segment.
Expect the V-8 to be some variation of the 4.2-liter unit currently found in the Audi R8.
No confirmation for either model has yet to be made - so it's all rumors for now. There is also no timeline for their release. We are keeping our fingers crossed that Lamborghini will produce a luxury SUV as spectacular as their current line up of vehicles.
