The fact that this one-of-a-kind model is based on the latest offering from the Italian automaker isn't the only factor in determining its price. Rather, the materials that were used in crafting this exquisite model are worth quite a sum of money, and the fact that Gulpen spent nearly 500 hours crafting it only adds to its worth as well. The model's interior features platinum as does its rims. Furthermore, it also features a solid gold thread wrapped around the carbon fiber body and logo made of bulletproof glass.

All of these work together to form a replica that is more than 12 times the original asking price of its inspirational vehicle at $375,000. The upcoming 2012 Lamborghini Aventador features LP700-4 is currently set to feature a 6.5-liter V12 engine, which is capable of shelling out 690 horsepower and 509 lb.-ft. of torque. This is then mated to an ISR 7-speed transmission, which can charge from 0-60 mph in a mere 2.9 seconds. Oh, and the top speed? 217 mph!

If you ask us, we'd simply rather have the real thing. But, we know that there are diehard collectors out there who will be willing to pay the asking price to get this one-of-a-kind replica of the Aventador.
