Classic Lamborghini Miura Models Showcased at 2019 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

The iconic Lamborghini Miura, which was produced from 1966 – 1973, was the first car to use a mid-engine layout, which has since become the standard for supercars. Five classic Lamborghini Miura models were recently showcased at the 2019 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance classic car show. The Miura is considered to be one of the most desirable classic cars to be owned and driven.

The classic Lamborghini Miura models at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance are from locations all around the world, capturing an important part of automotive history. This includes a 1967 Miura P400, owned by Tom & Gwen Price from Belvedere, California, a 1968 Miura P400, owned by Jon & Kim Shirley from Medina, Washington, a 1968 Miura P400 owned by The Kaiser Collection in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, a 1972 Miura P400 SV, owned by Jean Todt from Paris, France, and a 1968/1975 Miura SVR, owned by Shinji Takei from Japan.

Lamborghini Polo Storico

Three of the Miura models at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance were restored by Lamborghini Polo Storico, which is Automobili Lamborghini’s department dedicated to preserving the heritage of the House of Sant’Agata Bolognese. Along with the restoration and certification of all Lamborghinis produced up to 2001, Lamborghini Polo Storico reconstructs spare parts for classic Lamborghinis and conserves and manages the company archives for Automobili Lamborghini.
