The Aventador SVJ is still a V12 engine, and it’s still naturally aspirated, which is exactly what you’d expect from any Aventador model. However, Lamborghini did give it a significant boost in power.

The Aventador SVJ has a European horsepower rating of 770, which translates to 759 in American horsepower. In the torque department, the engine outputs 720 newton-meters or 531 pound-feet of torque. With a weight of just 1,525 kilograms or 3,362 pounds, you end up with a power to weight ratio of 1 horsepower for every 4.4 pounds.

We already know that the Aventador SVJ can go through the Nürburgring with a time of 6:44.97, but we have more speed specs than that. As far as top speed is concerned, all Lamborghini will say is that it can go faster than 350 km/h. That means 217 mph or the current top speed of the Aventador S. Maybe more testing is in order.

This car can manage 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 2.8 seconds. Even with its advanced aerodynamics, it manages this feat of acceleration 0.1 seconds faster than the Aventador S. It can also accelerate from 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) in 8.6 seconds or 0.2 seconds faster than the Aventador S.

This precision machine was always destined to be a limited run model, and Lamborghini recently confirmed that fact. Lamborghini will limit production of the Aventador SVJ to just 900 units.

Luckily, that’s enough units where they’ll be rare, but not so rare that you never see them outside of a garage. With the specs up there, this thing is clearly begging to be driven.

When compared to other cars of its caliber, it may be easy to expect the Aventador SVJ to retail for well over a million dollars. Though the market may take it up to values that high in relatively short order, it’s MSRP will actually be just $517,770 which is a small premium above the MSRP for the Aventador S at $421,350.
