The Aventador S has a monster engine lurking about its midsection<\/a>. With a V12 that can crank out 730 horsepower and 509 pound-feet of torque. That\u2019s a lot of power, and to get that much power on top, the Aventador S has to burn a lot of fuel, but all things considered, it is still surprisingly fuel efficient.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just how fuel-efficient is it? On the highway, it can get 18 miles per gallon, and in the city, it can get 11 miles per gallon. These numbers are for both the Aventador S Coupe and the Aventador S Roadster. With that consumption in mind, Lamborghini has outfitted the Aventador S with a 22.5-gallon gas tank.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, the Aventador S V12 is designed to fully utilize all the power available in the premium fuel that you feed it.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Aventador S Coupe, which is already available, comes in at 3,472 pounds. The Aventador S Roadster on the other hand, requires more reinforcement in order to operate normally without a roof. As such, it actually weighs a little more at 3,583 pounds.<\/span><\/p>\n
