The Bentayga sounds impressive with its engine specifications given that it has a 6.0-liter W12 engine, but the twin-turbocharged Urus V8 engine leaves it in the dust.<\/span><\/p>\n

An unfortunate truth about most SUVs is that they are heavy, and the Bentayga definitely proves that with a dry weight of 5,379 pounds. <\/span>The Urus isn\u2019t an SUV, it\u2019s an SSUV or Super Sport Utility Vehicle, and it shows especially when it comes to weight. <\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, the Urus weighs just 4,850 pounds, or over 500 pounds less than the Bentayga.<\/span><\/p>\n

That weight difference plus the horsepower difference really adds up when it comes to acceleration. The Bentayga is able to achieve a 4.1 second 0-62 mph (0-100 km\/h) time, which was certainly impressive when it debuted, but the Urus does one better. With a 0-62 mph (0-100 km\/h) time of 3.6 seconds, the Urus blows the doors off the Bentayga in a sprint.<\/span><\/p>\n

What about top speed? The Bentayga puts up impressive numbers with a top speed of 187 mph (301 km\/h), but the Urus once again puts the Bentayga in its place. With a top speed of 189.5 mph (305 km\/h), the Urus earns the \u201cSuper\u201d in Super Sport Utility Vehicle.<\/span><\/p>\n
