The latest concept from Lamborghini is certainly a mouthful. Its full name is the Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo? What is the Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo? Well first off, we will be calling it the Lambo V12 Vision GT for short. Though, even with its long name, this concept is earning a lot of interest and rightfully so. Let’s explore why.

Is the Lambo V12 Vision GT real?

Most concept cars are real, though they never reach production, and though this concept may not have real aspirations it does exist in a physical form. However, as you may have guessed from the name, it has a different intended purpose.

Gran Turismo has long been the gold standard in racing video games and a staple on the Sony PlayStation platform. Though no one will ever be able to drive the Lambo V12 Vision GT for real, everyone will have the opportunity to drive it digitally in Gran Turismo Sport sometime in the Spring of 2020, which is just around the corner.

Digital design but real roots for the Lambo V12 Vision GT

It’s easy to wonder what’s under the hood of the Lambo V12 Vision GT. Since it is intended to be utilized primarily in a digital format, Lamborghini could have made up whatever they wanted for specs as long as those specs were grounded in reality or at least near enough to it, but that is not the Lamborghini way.

This gorgeous car was modeled around the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 powertrain. That, of course, puts a V12 engine in the back and with the hybrid cred that goes along with it. This means it gets to enjoy 819 horsepower.

Some of the design follows in the footsteps of the Sián FKP 37 with the signature Y-shaped headlights and taillights, but that’s about where it stops. The supercar has a racecar-like structure and even features just a single seat cockpit for a true racing experience like no other. Enthusiasts of both video games and supercars will soon get their taste of this gorgeous Lamborghini supercar concept and all that it can do out on the track.
