Lake Woof

With sections for small, medium, and large dogs as well as pet washing stations and even five recognition sites with engraved bricks, this dog park located in John Prince park is bound to be a blast for your four-legged friend. Engraved bricks can be purchased for display at the site for $250.

Pooch Pines

City: Lake Worth, FL

Pooch Pines has a large dog section and a small dog section. Both sections have shaded sitting areas and plenty of benches. There’s also a paved dog wash station and fountains for your dogs to play in. This dog park is located inside Okeeheelee Park.

With a section for small, medium, and large dogs, multiple gazebos, and drinking fountains that are made to be dog accessible, this is a great place to bring your beloved pet. It’s located inside the Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park.

Dog Park at Lake Ida

Similar to many of the other dog parks on this list, when you come to the Dog Park at Lake Ida located inside the Lake Ida West Park, you and your dog can take advantage of a small and large dog area, a dog wash station, dog fountains, and more.

General dog park rules in Palm Beach County

All public Palm Beach County dog parks are open from sunrise to sunset though they do close down once a week for maintenance. Pooch Pines and Canine Cove both close on Wednesdays from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and both the Dog Park at Lake Ida and Lake Woof close on Thursdays during the same time frame.

There are a few rules that you will want to abide by if you head to one of these fine public dog parks. Do not bring any food (dog food or human food), keep your dog in the section designated for its size, clean up any dog waste (disposable bags and receptacles are provided), and always keep your dog in sight.

There’s also a limit of 2 dogs per person. Unvaccinated dogs, female dogs in heat, as well as puppies under 4-months old are prohibited. Any sign of dog aggression warrants removal from the park. Keep your dog’s emotions in check, and you’ll be fine.
