Lamborghini Dashboard Lights

Imagine that you are going on one of your many joy rides in your Lamborghini model. You’re having fun feeling the power of the engine and the wind in your hair when suddenly, a light pops up on your dashboard. Whether it’s a warning for something small or extremely important, dashboard lights are how your Lamborghini lets you know that there is a problem.

Here at Lamborghini Palm Beach, we want you to know everything that you need to know about your Lamborghini model. On this page, we will be going over the most common dashboard lights in your Lamborghini and what they mean.

Contact Us With Your Questions

Check Engine Light

The check engine light will look like an outline of an engine and will often be a yellow color. This is one warning light that you want to address immediately. When you see this light, it could mean that there is a problem with the motor and emissions system.

Battery Light

This light looks like a red rectangle with a positive and negative sign on each end of the rectangle. When this light is illuminated, it means that you need to check your battery. This light indicates that there could be a problem with the wiring, alternator or other electrical parts.

Coolant Temperature

This light looks like a blue thermometer being placed into water. When this light turns on, it means that the car is running too hot. This is a serious issue that should be checked out as soon as possible. If ignored, it could lead to even bigger problems.

Transmission Temperature

The transmission temperature light looks like a yellow thermostat inside of a gear. This light indicates that something in your gearbox is reaching a critical condition. These issues can be caused by low transmission fluid levels, excessively towing heavy loads or excessive wear on the internal parts of the transmission.

Oil Pressure Warning

This light looks like a red oil can with a drop of oil coming out. The cause of this light turning on varies from needing to top off the oil to something serious like a broken oil pump. If the dipstick doesn’t show that the oil level is low, it’s a good idea to go get the issue checked out.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System Light

This light looks like a half circle with a flat bottom and an exclamation point in the middle. When this light turns on, it means that one of your tires is overinflated or underinflated. In some models, it can also indicate which tire is at the wrong pressure level.

Brake System

This light is a red circle with an exclamation point in the middle and two half circles on either side. This light will turn on when you pull away when the parking brake is engaged. It could also indicate worn brake pads, low brake fluid levels, or an issue with the anti-lock braking system. However, many vehicles have a separate light for the ABS.

Traction Control/Stability Control

This light is a yellow car with two squiggly lines trailing behind it. You’ll often see this light appear when you are driving in slippery conditions and lose traction when accelerating or stopping. However, if this light comes on during dry conditions, you might need to get the sensor checked out.

Airbag Warning Light

This light will appear as a red person in a chair with a circle in front of them. While it is normal for this light to illuminate briefly when you turn on the vehicle, if it stays on, there could be an issue with one of the airbags. While this won’t leave you stranded on the side of the road, it can be highly dangerous if you get into an accident.
