Have you been patiently awaiting the Lamborghini Urus reveal? Maybe this is your first time hearing about this interesting new Lamborghini model. Either way, we have the Lamborghini Urus release details that will undoubtedly interest you.
In recent years, Lamborghini enthusiasts have been clamoring for an SUV, but Lamborghini did them one better and built an SSUV or Super Sport Utility vehicle, and it’s called the Urus. After years of development, and even a new assembly facility, the Urus is nearly ready to be unleashed on the public. The world may never be the same.
Of course, you want to see what this machine looks like, and we have plenty of pictures. If you saw the concept from a few years ago, you can see that it has largely kept its look with a few minor changes including a unique grille that will get your pulse pounding before you even get behind the wheel.
There’s no question about it, the Urus is a performance vehicle. Under the hood, this monster packs a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that is capable of 650 horsepower. Much like the Aventador S, it has six different driving modes including the all-powerful Ego mode.
Remember, this is not the first four-door SUV-style vehicle that Lamborghini has made. That honor goes to the LM002. Unlike the LM002, the Urus is bred for the track as well as for off-road. With carbon-ceramic brakes and an adaptive air suspension with active roll stabilization, it drives like a racecar on any terrain.
You can also expect a truly luxurious interior that is, of course, unmistakably Lamborghini. With a brilliant blend of leather, Alcantara, aluminum, wood, and plenty of carbon fiber, there is a lot to love. Additionally, you can customize both the interior and the exterior to your liking through the wide variety of Lamborghini options.
What are Lamborghini Forged Composites®?
If you are eager to finally get your hands on a real SSUV, then you won’t have the much longer to wait. The first customers will take delivery in spring 2018. It’s debut entry-level model has a retail price of $200,000, making it comparable to the Lamborghini Huracan.
