Boca Raton Cemetery

The Boca Raton cemetery will be hosting its own Memorial Day Ceremony featuring music by the Fort Lauderdale Highlanders, drills by the NJROTC from the Boca Raton Community High School, and more. Organizers expect attendance from city officials, veteran groups, and the local police and fire honor guard.

Mizner Park Amphitheater

Address: 590 Plaza Real
Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

The Mizner Park Amphitheater is hosting a concert featuring The Helmsman Band and the Shane Duncan Band. There will be food trucks and a beer garden attended by local breweries. The event is entirely free, and you can bring your chairs and blankets. Chairs will also be available for rental, though they are free for veterans.

Stuart Memorial Day Parade

Location: Memorial Park on SE Ocean Boulevard
Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

The Stuart Memorial Day parade will begin on Amerigo Avenue at 10:00 AM. From there it will travel south to 5th street, west to High School Avenue, south to Stypmann Boulevard, and then east to Palm Beach Road. Afterward, a ceremony will take place at Memorial Park at 11:00 AM. Participants should arrive at 9:00 AM.

National Cemeteries near WPB

National Cemeteries are beautiful places where you can pay tribute to those that sacrificed their lives for our country. There is such a site right near WPB down south in Lake Worth. It’s called the South Florida National Cemetery, and it will be holding a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 28 at 1:00 PM.

The South Florida National Cemetery was built to serve veteran needs for the next 50 years. Construction of the cemetery first began in 2002 and was opened for burials in 2007. Visitors are welcome Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
