Pooch Pines

All public Palm Beach County dog parks are open from sunrise to sunset though they do close down once a week for maintenance. Pooch Pines and Canine Cove both close on Wednesdays from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and both the Dog Park at Lake Ida and Lake Woof close on Thursdays during the same time frame.

There are a few rules that you will want to abide by if you head to one of these fine public dog parks. Do not bring any food (dog food or human food), keep your dog in the section designated for its size, clean up any dog waste (disposable bags and receptacles are provided), and always keep your dog in sight.

There’s also a limit of 2 dogs per person. Unvaccinated dogs, female dogs in heat, as well as puppies under 4-months old are prohibited. Any sign of dog aggression warrants removal from the park. Keep your dog’s emotions in check, and you’ll be fine.
